History on the Road
The Rochester Historical Society’s History On the Road program brings professionally developed and delivered PowerPoint presentations to your group or organization. We offer ten stand-alone presentations on a variety of topics on our region’s history. Each presentation is about an hour with “Show & Tell”. Total time depends on how many questions are taken at the end! For more information, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or at (585) 623-8285.
Community History Projects
Whether you are a neighborhood association, or a group of people united by a shared experience, culture, or interest, the Rochester Historical Society can help you to fund and develop a community archive of stories, photographs, and memorabilia. With your permission, we can also preserve the contents of your archive digitally at the Rochester Historical Society, for the education and enjoyment of our entire community. For more information, contact us at email@example.com or at (585) 623-8285.
Archival Development for Businesses and Nonprofits
Businesses are finding more than ever that their history can be an important means to shaping their identity and mission today and in the future. Whether or not you will be celebrating an anniversary or milestone in the near future, the Rochester Historical Society can help you to preserve your materials and to create a useable past. For more information, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or at (585) 623-8285.
The Rochester Historical Society has thousands of documents, images and artifacts concerning citizens, properties and events of the City of Rochester and Monroe County. Our Librarian will search the catalog to see if we have any materials on your family, house, businesses, organizations or past events. He can also help in your research by suggesting other resources you might want to consult. For more information, please contact William Keeler at email@example.com or at (585) 623-8285.
